Anne Kirkwood's Fine Jewelry Design is made by a woman whose vision embraces jewelry but also extends to numerous other artistic arenas. Kirkwood is a quartet violist, poet, and an accomplished painter
(see Artspan website for details) with recent shows in places such as Lincoln Center in New York City.
Her jewelry is motivated by a desire to transcend current trends and instead offer beautiful, classic works that can be worn from dawn to dusk, and can be passed on from generation to generation.
She works with a limited list of components: sterling silver, 14kt gold or vermeil, semiprecious stones, and vintage glass. Her signature works use hand-picked foil glass from Venice, each handmade and one-of-a-kind.
