Eye joy: this astonishing creation using hand made Venetian silver foil--large cubes of purest silver and brightest spring green alternate on a string of rare antique steel cut beads culled from ladies fasion garments and purces in the 18th century. These steel cuts, beside being almost impossible to find, are extremely costly, and in my mind, worth every penny, because of the unique look they give to any necklace--especially one as spare as this: the steel cut beads create an illusion-- due to their extremely small size, their steel cut shape and their tendency to sparkle slightly-- that the necklace is almost floating on wearer's neck, unincumbered by tradional aspects of all other seed beads.
