These abalone cubes are strung on antique steel-cut beads which are almost impossible to find today. The steel cuts have been culled from the purses and fancy garments of ladies in the 18th century. The amazing effect of these steel cuts-personally selected by Kirkwood-is their incomparable delicacy which makes the necklace appear to float on a wearer's neck. Sterling silver clasp.
