This double-stranded beauty, comprised of flattened pearls wears extremely well, with many undertones of subtle pastels which glimmer within the white pearls. These flattened pearls, (like a lunar surface) offer a unique beauty. The pearls are strung on antique steel cut beads--almost impossible to find today--which have been culled from the purses and fancy garments of ladies in the 18th century.
